At most grocery stores, it’s easy to find cultural cuisine from countries like China, India, Italy and Mexico but it’s Jenya Semenkova’s goal to make Ukrainian food just as commonplace. That’s why Jenya, who lived in Ukraine until she was 20 years old, started the business Ptashka – bringing nalysnyky (Ukrainian crepes with fillings) to grocery stores throughout Michigan.
